Dr. Sarah Ali is an economist, executive educator, and strategic advisor dedicated to making economics practical, accessible, and actionable for leaders and organizations. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she developed a deep appreciation for the role that business, public policy, and economic opportunity play in shaping communities and driving innovation.


She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Saint Louis University, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, building expertise in economic analysis, international trade, business strategy, and data-driven decision-making.



With experience spanning Fortune 500 companies, federal government, international development, and higher education, Dr. Ali translates complex economic concepts into practical insights that help executives and organizations navigate uncertainty, identify opportunities, and make better strategic decisions. Through Decision Economics Institute LLC, she provides executive education, corporate workshops, economic consulting, and leadership training focused on trade, inflation, market dynamics, and business strategy.
